See my comment below, it lists some of the qualities verses Ubuntu...if you haven&#039;t already just install it! You wont regret it so long as you have an understanding about some of the linux basics I&#039;d say, although you could get by with the wiki with no prior knowledge as it is excellent!</description>

In Ubuntu I had to install from source for a few things to get what I wanted which wasn&#039;t a big deal but in Arch I can install more up-to-date binaries, find a PKGBUILD for something or make my own in the AUR so I never manually build something again...
Ubuntu is a great distro for sure, it&#039;s what kept me interested in Linux after quite a break from it because of it&#039;s general ease of use. But I was ultimately drawn to Arch...still no regrets AT ALL.</description>
